12 Aug Cobre eyes anomalous copper targets in Botswana
Cobre (ASX:CBE) has uncovered anomalous copper targets after completing a 1,920m diamond drilling program at the Okavango Copper Project in Botswana.
The $16.88 million market capitalisation company says three out of six drillholes intersected anomalous copper-silver mineralisation, along strike from neighbour MMG’s (HKG:1208) zone five group and Boseto group of deposits showing the potential for further discoveries within the project area.
The anomalous holes, OCP07, OCP09, and OCP10, show distinct differences in terms of structures, alteration, mineralisation, and veining when compared to the established background in the Okavango area.
