11 Aug Cobre sees in-situ copper mining opportunity at Ngami
Cobre Ltd (ASX:CBE) CEO Adam Wooldridge sat down with Proactive’s Tom Warner to discuss its two major projects, Ngami Copper and Kitlanya West on the northern side of Botswana’s Kalahari copper belt. The projects cover over 2,500 square kilometres of promising geological terrain, with Ngami Copper, recently yielding unexpected results. While expecting to find high-grade zones, Cobre has instead discovered consistent moderate-grade mineralisation spanning tens of kilometres along the north and south limbs of an anticlinal structure. Cobra now believes it’s leveraged to develop an extensive in-situ copper mine at Ngami. With positive results in hand, Cobre plans to provide resource estimates, conduct pumping tests, and proceed with further drilling.
